back deck abloomin!

happy
 memorial
 day

 from my back deck!

i call this my favorite "room" in the house....

please enjoy these photos
enhanced in photoshop (just for fun)
 with a
"soft and faded" action
from "Pioneer Woman"

we spend a lot of time out here....

right now,
 the New Dawn Rose
is blooming in all its full glory
 over one of the arbors....

my urns are planted out with an all white palette....

and bright pink hydrangeas add a pop of color....

last year i had a swing hanging here,
and this year, i have moved my little garden folly greenhouse to this location...
and lo and behold...

two types of clematis (henryii and jackmanii) both found their way into the folly (with just a wee bit of my coaxing)

nature amazes and inspires me so!

i hope you enjoyed this little tour

of a part of my world...

can you see why this is my favorite room?

happy day to you, my friends!

Very, very pretty Erin. Your deck and photos are gorgeous. Your New Dawn looks so beautiful and I'll have to settle for looking at yours this year. Our harsh winter zapped all the roses and my New Dawn will have to be cut down nearly to the ground. I will miss it's lovely soft pink blossoms this year, but I'm sure it will grow back and while I am waiting, I can paint the greenhouse behind it - if only I hadn't broken my foot a few weeks ago.

I love your sense of style, it is so clean and refreshing yet vintage and romantic. You know how to do it! No wonder this is your favorite "room". Love the pink geraniums in the tubs. I have red ones in tubs, but prefer the pink.

If I had your beautiful garden setting, I don't think I would ever get any work done. I would want to just sit and relax on the deck.

I found your lovely blog by following a link from a pin of your sweet little greenhouse. I'm so glad I did ~ what a gorgeous deck! I'm going to share a pic of the little greenhouse on my facebook page, The Old Blue Bucket, with a link back to your blog so others can visit & enjoy your deck as well. ~ Judy

There are so many great deals out there of which it is tempting to take advantage. While that is a good idea, there are a lot of things to consider. Take the advice in the rest of this article to help you on that journey.

Make sure your coffee pot is clean. In order to get the freshest tasting coffee you must be sure you are using a clean coffee pot. You can clean it by using a teaspoon of vinegar with a full coffee pot of water. Run your coffee pot as though you are making coffee.
