impressions...

well, i am just overwhelmed, by all of the yummy blog love, sent my way, for my "newish dining room" post! thank you all so very much! and just to show you, that while i do LOVE an all neutral palette, like i used in my dining room.....well, i also LOVE me some COLOR! i do....i do!

i was so totally, over the moon, inspired when i saw my bloggy friend

from her trip to Giverny, France (the home and gardens of Claude Monet). i have never been to Monet's gardens...it's on my very long bucket list of places to see....Georgianna was gracious enough to let me use her scrumptious photos as inspiration for my latest paintings. thank you, G so very much! please check out her fabulous blog...you will be inspired too.

please enjoy some color filled snippets from my studio...

as the heat wave here in Tennessee continues (on and on and on), i am very grateful to be able to do my gardening work in the early morning....
and then spend afternoons in my studio....

fans a blowin.

creating.

playing.

musing.

listening.

dreaming.

artying.

how about you?

So pretty!! This heat is going to hang around for a while - take care. I have a feeling I won't get a lot accomplished this week.

Beautiful painting Erin. I think you just convinced me to paint my foyer that scrumptious blue. Can't have an unhappy day with those colors.
Thanks for sharing your studio!

There are always beautiful things coming from your hand. The poppies are gorgeous! It must be so fun to be able to create the perfect art piece for your rooms. You see and and then you paint it. Gosh, I'm jealous. Please stay cool and don't get a heat stroke or something.

Erin,
What a breath of fresh air you are on this scorching Texas morning. Just got home from church and at 10:30 am it's already over 100. I could take a nap in your dining room, it looks so cool and breezy.

I laughed at your whirlwind projects. That's how I work and my husband knows to just hang on for a wild ride and that it will be over soon when I wear myself out!

Do you sell your paintings? I was so moved by your
horses. I hope you do sell your work and if you don't you should. The way you paint must be how God sees things :)
Have a wonderful Sunday,

Brandy
