sparkly waters.......

as i was driving home from a long day of gardening, tired and dirty,

i spotted this horse who always seems to be standing in this pond.

what was different this particular afternoon,

was all the sparkly water surrounding her...

so of course,

i had to stop my jeep and jump out

to capture this moment of glittery light, of sparkly waters, twinkling all around.

i am once again
playing along with
kim klassen
and her
texture tuesday.

my sparkly waters were made even more beautiful
by adding kim's texture called
"life is good".

So beautiful, gentle and inspiring...though the pictures brought a few tears. I grew up on a horse farm, so many years ago. My love for horses has never left, and these photographs of this horse, just captured their beauty so perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing, you broght back the one part of my childhood that was good and true to me.

I have so many horses around us now that we've moved. Every time I leave I tell myself that someday I need to stop and take pictures. I need to just DO IT! Your pictures are the most beautiful this week on TT. :-)

I LOVE your photos! I adore horses and especially love seeing them in water but this is extra special because of the way the light is sparkling and the fact that she's a white horse. So perfect!

Beautiful!!! You need to turn these prints into cards. Package them up and take them to "The Iron Gate" or one of the other stores downtown and sell them. Nashville loves horses.

The amazing thing to me is how these have the same atmosphere as your paintings, dear Erin. That you can create the same mood and beauty in both mediums is fabulous. Gorgeous!
