Fun! My grandmother had the Poppytrail "Green Rooster". I have quite a few of the Green Rooster pieces from her.
And Mom had the "Red Rooster".
and here I thought I had seen every set of dishes ever made...but i have never seen these!
So artsy and cool just like a certain Chika I know :D

Love those vintage dishes Erin! Makes me want a "spot of tea!" LOL
Ha! California girl? That's fun. So, your photos turned out great as usual. I love the drippiness. I tried, but am evidently way too new at PSE to get it done by tomorrow. Unless I stay up all night. I need to buy a book, I guess. :-(
These are timeless beauties ... just like you! So pretty, your photos! Have a great day :)
I would never have known they are from the fifties if you hadn't said. It's surprising how well cups and saucers are suited to being photographed.

Great shots! I especially like the idea of using the perspective on the tea cups from above.

And a great website, too.

These are stunning. I love them all!
So beautiful...love the perspective!
Very cool dishes and even cooler photos!!
Your thumbnail at Kim's just popped out at me and I knew I had to visit. Was it the dishes that stood out or your beautiful photos? I'm thinking you had a great subject but your photography made it even better! Thanks for sharing!
I have never seen these dishes before! Love the pics of them :)
Hugs,
Donna
These are beautiful Erin and I love the textures that you added. Have a wonderful day!

Love the poppytrail (I think I have a few from my mom- with rooster)- but most of all love your photos- the point of view, composition, textures etc. etc. Wonderful work!
PS- I'm made in California as well (before you, alas...) and collect Blue Ridge (made in Tennessee...)!
I love these dishes!
Always inspiring pictures.
ERIN! HOW LOVELY TO SEE YOU sweet faery! YES, I was totally lost in that wedding, and I was not expected to go! But I saw that when I got to the computer early in the morning, that MSN.COM had the live broadcast so I was there along with all the other people of the world that were watching. That made it even more special to know that those of us who tuned in were enchanted by a dream at the same time. Incredible.
Your words and kindness ring in my heart! Have a blessed day, Anita
i so appreciate your artful way of seeing and capturing your cuppa collection ... : )
beautiful photos ~ perfect processing!

Those are the funkiest dishes I have ever seen! Of course they would be made in California, right?
Interesting and cool dishes and interesting perspectives. Made in the 50's....lots of really good stuff came out of the 50's! :)
Beautiful and artistic as always!
These dishes are so fun. I'm enjoying your blog.
Saw this gorgeousness in Texture Tuesday. Well done! :)
I love those cups and saucers. They are so my style.
Beautiful photos. I'm sending my sister over to look at your work. She's just getting started with photography and photoshop. She has a wonderful eye for nature...especially capturing sunsets. I am hoping she will one day share...
