before winter is just a cold memory, i thought i'd share some snow scenes taken the end of january, when the first, very early, daffodils were blooming on old natchez trace. these little gems have all faded and we anxiously await for their cousins to appear..........this is my first attempt at playing with textures on my photos.

With all the beautiful snow I have been seeing from my northern friends.. I almost have a yearning for snow also.. winter will be here soon.. but it doesn't snow here.. just bleak and rainy ...

Ok Girl you just never stop astounding me. Your artful way of showing your world is so fantastic. It's cloudy here today but it's rather nice out...warm...well you know me I don't need to see the sun everyday. Pretty flowers do need rain.

D r e a m y ... Love daffodils.
When I was a child my family and our friends (another family) traveled to a place called "Daffodil Hill" in Northern California. I remember being about 7 and when we arrived ... there were no daffodils! We were too late. We went to a restaurant that afternoon and told the waitress about our great disappointment and when she brought our vanilla ice creams at the end of the meal ... she had decorated them with daffodils.
