brrrrrrrr! it's winter....

the view out my window....

of snow and ice and kids on sleds....

it is freezing outside,
like really frigid!

so,
 i am enjoying
the great indoors today.....

is it cold where you are??

"Blue Monday"
survey says,
today is the most depressing day of the year....
i say,
let's prove them wrong peeps!
do something fun today!

and stay warm.

I am not depressed, but this extreme cold makes me cranky. :-D I don't even want to step outside long enough to check the mail box.
Stay warm.

Pretty photos, Erin! All this cold weather just gives me a reason to get under a blanket with hot chocolate and a good book :)
Stay warm!

Lovely photos, wish we had some snow right now...it's always so pretty.

It is in the twenties here but should warm a bit this week as we are to get snow.

Oh is it ever cold over here! -50 today and tomorrow as well. They cancelled back to school for me, so it's fun for me in the "great indoors" too, erin! Anita

Blue Monday? Nooooooo. Not here. January 6th was awesome, despite wind chills below -30.
You show 'em, Erin. Nothing blue or depressing at your house.

Dear Erin - it was extremely cold here Tuesday. Love your pictures of the great indoors as well as the outside. Are those two lovely paintings that I saw your work? Very beautiful -both of them.

Your cozy home looks so lovely and welcoming. I'm still looking at Christmas decorations. I've never had them up this late. The weekend looks busy, so they may stay up a little longer. I hope it's warming up there.

I love that darling horse on your table, erin!

Thank you for coming by last night! YES, you and I both have an eye for unlikely and obvious beauty, and I need more of that keen eye so that I can use language to shape what I see, hear, smell, taste and feel. I'm having a blast learning how to write poetry!

Have a wonderful day, Anita
