| welcome to our favorite room in the house. we spend lots of time out here.. it's not really a room, but outside on the back deck, tucked under the roof, sitting in our adirondack chairs, sipping on a mojito, made with fresh mint from the garden and now... protected from those pesky mosquitoes that can drive one nuts. |

| i am lovin the addition of this mosquito netting over the chairs! it looks so darn pretty and actually does a good job at keeping the bugs at bay. |

| what is your favorite room at your house? would love to hear about it. ♥ erin p.s. will be picking up my new computer in the next couple of days...makes me kinda nervous and excited to think about learning something new! we have had such a mild and rainfilled july here in tennessee.....the gardens and the gardener sure appreciate it! so do the mosquitoes. |

I love the outdoor space you've created Erin! My daughter had one of those mosquito nets hanging over her bed as a teenager & it got packed away . When my husband built our pergola a few years ago, I brought it outside to hang over our outdoor swing. It's our favourite outside area ... pergola covered in honeysuckle vine & wrapped in white twinkle lights, prayer flags, swing with cushions, basket of old magazines, big clay pots filled with plants, wind chimes ... my morning meditation spot ♥

Is there any other place I'd rather be right now? I think not, truly, I needed this exact inspiration today, I needed to belong to nature today, sit in my dreams of being exactly in a setting like yours. I was visiting my dearest friend Kerrie at sea cottage, saw yourself there with a comment, it was your icon photo that got me so, I came to visit not thinking I would be moved so deeply in you simple calm but, I was.
Thank you for your share, I am later going to add you to my blog roll of inspiration so I can visit more then often :)

Completely enchanting. Your entire outdoor space is everything I love. I have adirondacks and a mosquito net but have never put them together. You are brilliant ! This post is better than any summer magazine. Sea tidings Kerrie.

It really does look like a magical place to be, Erin! I made a dress-up bridal veil for our granddaughter, but when I visited their country home, I decided they could all use one to keep the deer flies away from their heads! Your idea is pretty AND practical!

Welcome home Erin! I know you were away at the beach? Well your world is very similar to mine in that I have a screened in porch as this, not as WHITE but nonetheless ethereal. My favorite place to spend time? My writing studio in the morning, my great room at night, and in mid-day, my screened in porch. Oh the glories of having an artist eye, because we can find inspiration just about anywhere. But your world here is truly perfect in design! Happy day, Anita
