aren't these daffodils amazing...i wonder how long ago they were planted here...they just keep coming back year after year, like happy little miracles!! encuastic art involves layering images using hot wax.... it is perfect for collaging snippets of some of my favorite photos with images of my art.... i am so excited about this new process!! i only wish i wasn't having issues with my computer so i could safely download photos and finally get around to starting up my new etsy shop. although, rather frustrating, i take this all as a sign... to concentrate on the spring gardens and to play with this new art medium.... and so that is what i will do. i hope you are having a wonderful start to your spring. i have a feeling this is going to be a very good one, indeedy!! erin p.s. if you get a chance, check out this great post, over at "folk" magazine featuring my hometown of franklin and leipers fork.... here I LOVE MY TOWN! |

Erin,
You have been busy!! Love all the photos. Hope you get your computer repaired soon so you can share more. Exciting news about your Etsy shop!
Hugs,
Donna
Pretty photos! You have been busy and having fun at the same time - except for the computer issues. Some things in bloom here, but not as much as this time last year. My azaleas have lots of buds, but have not bloomed yet, which may be a good thing as snow flurries late tonight changing to cold rain by morning. Looking forward to seeing some of your new art creations.
Enjoy your evening.
Your photos pulled me in!
So great,
Deb@LakeGirlPaints
As always, lovely photos. Wishing you a gentle Easter.
Happy Spring! Can't wait to see your encaustic pieces. And maybe one day get my hands ON SOME OF YOUR ART!
:)
My heart sings hearing you so happy...and as one who adored your town and came within hours of moving there, you should be proud. <3
Erin, thank you for starting the spring for me with your yellow-flourishing pictures. Here in Ohio we are still deep in a snow :( I'm glad you back, can't wait for your beautiful shots.
Dear Erin - thanks for bringing me some spring - I live in Ohio too and it has snowed off and on for the last two days and cold too. Those daffodils look wonderful. Hope your computer gets fixed - anxious to see your new art.
Hi there! I haven't been on much either. So glad you're trying new methods and playing in the garden. I've been really busy, but I'm not too sure with what. Just life stuff. I'm looking forward to pictures of your new artwork!
Hugs,
Karen
I can't wait to see your new work! And, isn't spring wonderful! Those daffodils are so sweet coming up year after year like that, like old friends. Good luck with the computer, but you may be right, the universe is probably just telling you to get off the computer and get to creating and gardening!

Ciao Bella!
Glad you've been up to some fun and creativity!!
Can't wait to see the new are and what you are doing
with it, so selfishly ... get that computer fixed!
:)
Blessings to you for an Easter and Spring filled with
peace and joy!

Hi, erin,
This post is such a visual treat!
I love the photo of the daffodills, as for one, I once lived in a lovely older home, with a section like that in the back by the shed, where mysterious flowers popped up through brush.
And the second reason, I love it, is for the beauty of the flowers - we here, in Saskatchewan, Canada are still under several feet of snow, however seeing these photos is a good preview for spring.
I really enjoyed scrolling through here, and will be sure to visit again.
Brenda
Happy Happy Spring to you Erin.

Hi Erin
Well this is a fine how-do-you-do..
I had left a comment when you posted this but do not see it here.. It must be floating around blogland.
I sure hope your computer is repairable.. Mine is so very old, I cross my fingers every day.. It has been in and out for service so many times in the past two years.
Oh the FLOWERS... They are just beautiful Erin.. What a lovely post. Thank you so much for sharing this.. I hope you are enjoying your spring.
fondly,
Penny
