beach brain sand and all.... and quite bummed. post vacation blues, i suppose..... playing with photos and listening to dave matthews, with a cocktail helps.a little.
Welome home Erin.. I take it your time spent at the ocean was so good you did not want it to end. It that it? The photos are so beautiful... Wishing you a happy weekend. Sending you a big HUG! Penny
Happy dance .....I am so happy you came over to say hi to me...I have been so busy that I don't get to visit all my favourite blogs. I have missed your lovely images...with such beautiful light! So glad you had time away...I am hoping to do the same soon. Sending you extra hugs today and enjoy that weekend of yours. xoxo
Yep, it's kinda hard to get back into the swing of things at home when you've a great holiday. Dave Matthews and a cocktail sounds really good to me. (Love how you covered your dishwasher -- great idea!) Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy
Erin - lovely pictures. I love the beach so I can imagine how you feel. Vacations are never long enough are they? Looks like you will have good memories though. Take care and God Bless!
But, we're so glad you ARE back! I hope you are all rested up. Loving the pictures, especially the last little bird. Hope your weekend continues to be restful!
Welcome home, Erin! Looks like you had tooooo good of a time, huh? lol! How well I know how difficult it is to re-enter reality after spending time at the ocean. It kinda smacks you upside the head, doesn't it? :( Hold the memories close and revisit them often, sweetie. We're glad you're home safe and sound, though!
I can see why you had a hard time coming back to 'real' life Erin, because if your amazing photos are any hint of what you left behind...well, I'm not sure I would have : ) hugs from me...
Oh Erin! I cannot even imagine what I would do if the a/c died. Of all things.. I hope it is fixed on time.. Yes, I am sure you would rather be back at the beach. Thanks for coming over to visit. Take care and try to stay cool Penny
Oh, sigh, I seem to remember you feeling exactly this way last year. It is such a pity that Franklin doesn't have a beach for you to play on. I know it would make you so happy.
Nevertheless, I love your beach photos this year – different from last year but still so beautiful. :)
Love your beach photos Erin!!! Some of them look almost wintery and I love how you overlaid several of them. So unique and creative as usual. You always seem so sad when you come back from the ocean. You really should think about living closer to it. I feel the same way living in land-locked Ohio, but then I don't get to the ocean every summer so I don't have withdrawal. I haven't been to any Atlantic beaches in decades, but try to get to San Diego every few years to visit my brother and his family. They live a mile from the beach and we go often, but the best part of the California beaches are the highways that drive along them. I never get over coming around the corner and there is the ocean with breathtaking views. So not Ohio, but then it isn't ver green there either. I guess both have their trade-offs and I think I'll take all our lush green and fall foliage. Cindy

Your beach photos are beautiful. I love the artistic way you put together little still life compositions with shells and stones.
