crows and spiders...

hi everyone! just popping in here..... with some pics i took around the house (mostly in my dining room).....thought i'd better share some halloweenie shots before it was too late.
this is about as scary as i get when it comes to halloweenie decor......
some black crows...
and spiders under glass....there is a problem with the spiders that i made......can you guess what it is??

this is not halloweenie at all......but the morning light was so purty, hitting the sand dollars that i collected a couple of weeks ago at the beach.

yes folks, that is a picture of ME (in the plastic wig, early "Toddlers and Tiaras") and my little brother.....circa ??? ahem.
our fall leaves are peaking right now and the afternoon light was hitting these beautiful leaves in my backyard....in a such a magical way......this shot is for my two special bloggy friends ( Z and Becca) who live in the desert of las vegas...and perhaps don't get to see the magic of the leaf change like i do.

THANK YOU so very much for all of your visits and comments and cyber love and support...y'all are the BEST....you REALLY are......i am working very hard on my art right now....the show is in two short weeks!! GULP.......so although i have been visiting your lovely blogs, i am not taking the time to comment, as all of my energy i am putting towards this thing called ART.
i hope you understand.
love,
erin

p.s. oops.... i accidentally made the sculpy spiders (under the dining room cloche) with 6 legs instead of the EIGHT legs that spiders have! duh.....i guess they are ants then?? oh well.

And lovely ants they are! :) Love the white pumpkins and black crows!!! Looks beautiful. I am not a big halloween decoration chick ... although I did buy a little strand of skeletons on hemp ... and I have a weird rat .. otherwise it's pumpkins, gourds, nuts and leaves ...
Cracking up at the "Exorcist Mix!"

Good luck getting ready for your show, my friend! So excited for you and proud!!! :)

We don't have Halloween around here and therefore no Halloweendecorating but I love your touches of Halloween around the house; very subtil. I especially love the white pumpkins and the twiggy apple/pumpkin(?)
Something wrong with the spiders? Too cute looking ;-) not scary enough????
Bye,
Marian

I just LOVE what you did with the place...straight our of a magazine. I just found a coffee pot at a garage sale that matches the pots and pans you have hanging. I just have not had a chance to show case it. I adore it. Your photos are always like a breath of fresh air.

Oh NOW YOU HAVE THE studio recording of WINWOOD'S "Can't find my way back home"!!!! And dearest, it is a scary experience to venture out, but it is becoming easier and I am loving it!!!! Art should be fun, for from that joy comes the best. AND WE CAN'T LISTEN TO THE MAN behind the curtain! I know you are already a huge success. Your art is ethereal and fabulous my friend!!! ANita

You know I thought ants right away and thought how cool are they. Loved that you made them.
You've got me rethinking my Fall decorations, I believe they might be too creepy....ok not overly creepy but too late now....the time is almost here....BOO

snowing here so it's not feeling too Weenie! more like Christmas

Hi Erin! So sorry it took me so long to come over and see your leaves! THANK YOU for the beautiful, colorful leaves and the mention! I wish we could trade for a while. :-) You always do the prettiest decorating, and I get ideas every time I visit you. Oh, and I'd rather see ants than spiders any day! LOL
