Erin, Love your photos. I had no idea that they had a little red spot. When it stops raining I am going to go look at the ones in my garden.
You have a wonderful skill for photography.
Erin - what lovely photos of Queens Anne Lace - one of my favorite summer flowers! You have such a lovely blog - your photos are stunning. Your love of flowers and gardening are so evident - we also share that passion.
I love your little calico kitty - I have one almost like her!
I will be looking forward to more of your beautiful images in days to come.

Erin,
How clever you are to post pictures that match my room decor of all white. :- 0. SO kind of you, and they are sooooooo pretty.
I had never heard the pricked finger tale before either.,,and I grew up with them wild all over the hills behind my house.
You always take me back to what I once had...

I was just admiring some Queen Anne's lace today by the side of the road in Kansas. But, I didn't take a picture. We don't have them in Southern Cal. I'd never heard the lacemaker's tale either. Lovely. I love the hobnail glasses. Beautiful!
The sweetest white smilemakers in Summer time, I totally agree, Erin. Lots and lots of sisters and brothers are blooming in our field behind the backyard. LOVE the view. Your photos are amazing, as always.
Have a happy new week! xxx
