i took this full moon picture in downtown nashville on saturday night...inspired by julie atyou must check out her always fantastic blog (she has a thang for full moons).
yes, i said thang...hey, i live in the south.
and now for something completely different...
this little scarecrow gets my vote for cutest ever!!i spotted him at the local botanical gardens where they have a yearly scarecrow contest.
i love how the Nashville Zoo participants used stacked meerkats as the theme!
is that not the cutest, most creative, not scary scare crow ever?

love it!!well, i am off to the studio to work on my latest painting...
must be the cooler, shorter days making me want to stay inside and create...
it feels really good and i must take advantage of this feeling......

I love your pic of the moon. I can't seem to get a good one. There was an amazing moon last night but I didn't have my tripod here.

That is the best scarecrow! Fun and entertaining...I don't think any crows would be scared though.
