fall fun

there is a definite change in the air...mornings are cool and crisp...and i love it!
i am so pleased with the growth of the new Jessamine vines i planted, two months ago, to grow up the columns. this is a cross between Carolina and Swamp Jessamine (evergreen and blooms in spring). sorry, can't recall the name, but it sure seems happy!
the creeping ficus vine (fig) across the front of the steps is an idea i saw in Charleston.

i've been slowly pulling out more autumnal decor...
i like to ease into the seasons...

little leaves have fallen on the front porch.

stacked punkins.

crows nesting in the bird cage.

back porch bouquet.

and three of my watercolor paintings which were inspired from magazine photos... oh, how i miss Country Home magazine!

" it's fall y'all" please join the party at
hosted by
southern hospitality
p.s. i realize that my posts have been going back and forth between fall and beachy. well, that is my typical Pisces personality...two fish swimming in opposite directions!
i don't know what i'll be posting next, but i promise it will be
easy on the eyes........and hopefully, inspiring!

Gorgeous paintings Erin
You are so talented at both photography and painting. Love the way you have captured the glass bowl in the last and the middle painting is exceptional. Fantastic ... clever you!! Have a great weekend. xx Julie

Your photography always inspire me. I sense a bit of cinema editing to a couple of them. The stacked pumpkins and the sunflowers.Yes??
Your painting are fabulous. The 1st one looks like a photograph.
I just stopped at the beach yesterday for the first time this year. I preposted a B&W post for Sunday of it.
I got a comment from Scarlet the other day thanking me for the post I did on her at Brimfield. She said a customer came in and told her about me. I assumed it was you???
xo,
Carole

Hi Erin,

Your images and your paintings are divine and what a lovely area you live in. Your making me miss Autumn already, we are in the midst of Spring here in Australia, my two favourite seasons of the year.

Thanks for dropping by my blog this week and leaving your lovely comments.
