simple bowls

recently i have started to collect these simple bowls.
one is marked
fireking
the others are unmarked.
i am attracted to their humble and unadorned whiteness.
simple.
unpretentious.
practical.
ordinary.
timeless.
beautiful.

    Oh Erin, If I'd known...If I'd only known....oh drat, yes, I had some which I would have gladly given you, but they went in the last big sale. Oh drat, drat drat! And a damn.....I would have been thrilled to send you something I'm sure you'd like.....

    Hi Erin, such simple beauty indeed. We saw lots and lots of Queen's Anne Lace while in OH -- my aunt said in some states, it sells for lots of money for arrangements because it is hard to find.     I love Fire King ware too and have the White and Jadeite colors... I too enjoy the simplicity of the pieces.
