i really do hope for a White Christmas! i love shades of white and i love snow and winter recreation! a walk through a snowy peaceful forest is what i adore.........
my parents are from North Dakota, most of my childhood was spent in a suburb of Chicago and i went to college for two years in Minnesota...so i have lived through some REAL winters!!
unfortunately, my beloved home of Tennessee only experiences occasional snow falls.
ice storms is more the norm here...
don't get me wrong, there is beauty in ice too, but it is dangerous and destructive.
and so i will just DREAM of a White Christmas..............

I am dreaming of a White Christmas! Your pictures are lovely. There is just something so pretty about snow so magical to me...I guess because I have never seen much! LOL
Really, really pretty pictures Erin!! WOW! I love how you've added the snow on your blog too...it's so festive over here, I love it!
We just got our first snow fall last night and more is on it's way!

Erin, I have been reading through your posts. Love all the decor of your house and C's! I'm so impressed with all your detail and how it's all put together. I just want to study each photo and take it all in. You are a gal after my own heart! :) Also, thanks for your kind comment regarding my sil's deployment.
All of your photos are gorgeous! I love the idea of a white Christmas but it's certainly not something we get here in Australia - it's going to be veeeery hot. Leigh
Beautiful white decor. I would like a white Christmas if the streets stayed clear. I know - I ask a lot. :)
I guess I have a better chance of a White Christmas here in Southern New England! It's the best, I agree. No matter what the weather, have a Happy Holiday!
Hi Erin! It's so nice to meet you! Your comments on my blog just made day! Thank you so much. I love the photos of all your White Christmas beauty. We NEVER have white Christmas's here in Az, so I I'll have to live vicariously through you. My sweetie and I spent our vacation a couple of years ago driving around Tennessee, and fell in love. We hope to retire there some day. Merry Christmas sweetie!

Beautiful post,

Very dreamy photos. You do a great job. I'd love for you to join in on all the "white" fun. I'll add your name to my list of participants and look forward to more wonderful whites from you.
Take care,
Kathleen
Hi Erin,
I just stopped over for White Wed., I'm so glad I did! Your photos are beautiful! Your interior shots are great, I want to see more. And the ones you've taken outdoors are lovely.
I, too, love the snow, well the idea of it anyway. I've never lived in it as an adult, not sure how I'd handle the reality of it. But it sure looks pretty and romantic, espl. during Christmas. We did have some frost here the last two days - and a bit of snow in the higher mountains. But it's so rare it made the frontpage of the newspaper!
I'd love it if you'd come by for a visit.
Have a great week.
XO
