happy fall y'all!!

please enjoy
 a few snippets
 of what i have been up to....








finally, we have had cooler days and nights, here in beautiful franklin, tn....
and i feel so refreshed and alive...  
and oh so excited about some things going on in my life right now...

i have signed up to do a booth at the franklin pumpkinfest at the end of october ....something i never ever envisioned myself doing....but my friend mark porter, who crafts gorgeous barn wood frames, wooden bowls and jewelry boxes, will be doing it with me....mark already has confident experience AND the tent for the booth....i will be selling some of my art (which looks great  framed with barn wood BTW!)  and also my doily bowls and hand painted doily rocks (love them doily's!) ....

an out door event dealing with people ("people"... ew) is not something, i ever saw, my shy self doing, 
so.....i am
  flying by the seat of my pants  
 putting my trust in higher powers with this one.....
and always
and it feels o.k.

i am excited about a painting class that i have started taking at shimai, and being around other "creatives"!

i am excited about creating.

i am excited about my Creator.

i am excited about doing my gardening and power walking (which has turned into more of a jogging thing) in this cooler weather...
without sweating my ass off.

and
 i am so excited
 about a road trip to atlanta this weekend.... with my girlfriend amy ...to visit her sister elaine...
two really cool chicks.....
 yay!

    sounds fabulous, erin! your lacy bowls and gourds and chenille bedspread pumpkins (is that what those beauties are?!?) will delight those peeps who are lucky enough to stop at your tent.

    i love your energy and am soaking it up. the master creator must be smiling at you right now.

    You will love it. I do the sister shows, Main st. Festival and DIckens Christmas. Bring a wide price range and you should have a lovely show, good luck!

    We have a few weeks to go before fall shows herself around here. (SO CAL) i'm worn out from the heat but I feel like you with cooler weather...ALIVE, ENERGETIC and full of SPUNK! These are beautiful. LOVE the rock and sharpie pen idea.

    Just love your doily bowls and rocks and also those darling pumpkins! You are right you do really need to watermark your spectacular photos! Don't mind a bit.

    Hi there! I figured you'd been painting since it has been quiet on your blog lately. I have no such lovely excuse. I love, love your meadow paintings. What I can see, that is. I bet you'll have a successful show since everything you make is beautiful. Enjoy your lovely weather, we're still HOT here. Although, that's normal. I'm proud of you to start running. The heat just sucks all motivation out of me. I'm still working out, just NOT running. ;-)

    Erin I love the pictures on your blog....those gourds just say "fall" to me.....and did you make those cute little fabric pumpkins? Those are so sweet! Wish I could come to the festival see your artwork for sale, you know how badly I want one of those horse paintings!!:)
    Have a fun time in Hot Lanta....I only live about 30 miles from the city and know you will have a great time with your friends!

    Your work is great. I love to 'mess about' with rocks also, the doily rocks will be the 'smalls' that ppl love to pick up. I too cringe at too many too close to my art. But you must let them go out in the world to be enjoyed by others! At least you will have the photos to remember them by.

    After the heat of this summer it really is nice to have Fall finally here. Plants are happy too.
    You've got me wanting to get my gourds out of storage( if the mice haven't gotten to them)

    I have to figure out the watermark thing. some of my photos have been pinned onto interest with no credit or "via" or anything but I don't know how to do photoshop ... is there an easier way?

    Happy for you that you are in an art class. Feels good to be in a creative group environment! :)
    You will do great out in the world with your beautiful art and creative works. Your beautiful creative soul is a light and people will see that.

    these doily stones are fabulous! Watermarking your photos is necessary, plus I don't think it's too big, our pics get pinned and reposted so you have to protect yourself! t.xoxo
