"New Dawn" Rose Love...

New Dawn Rose in my backyard... I love this climbing rose. It is easy to grow and a fast climber. I never have to spray it and the thorns are'nt bad. I love the light pink soft color and heady fragrance. One of my favorite plants!! Yummy!!

These New Dawn Roses are blooming at L's Garden just in time for a wedding shower that she is hosting this weekend!

These New Dawn Roses were spotted at a garden that was "on tour" this past weekend. I just had to share them with you. Adorable miniature table and chairs, I suppose for the grandkids?

and roses on the fence by the pool!

These New Dawn Roses were climbing up the Pool House at a different garden on the tour... fabulous!

How cute are these gals on the tour with their boots on!! They were going to need those boots too, because we got back on the tour bus and the heavens opened up.............poured down rain for the rest of the day!

Surprise Garden Visitor...

Last week at C's Garden, I was trimming the Espalier when...

I came across this!! By the time I went to find the Gardener next door and came back, he had slithered away..........He seemed to be about 4 feet long! I wonder where he is???

Colorado inspired garden in Tennessee.......

Welcome to Robin's Garden...........this wonderful backyard is owned by a lovely couple who hail from Colorado. So naturally the inspiration was easy. Birch trees which are similar in appearance to Aspens, Colorado Blue Spruce, Columbine and wildflowers, boulders, a water feature to hide an unsightly brick planter and lots and lots of river rock..........did I mention river rock?

the "boulders" were hand picked by the owners.........the more lichon, the better!

oops...........that's a shot of columbine from my backyard...........

water source........... the Carolina Jessamine and Creeping Juniper have hidden the brick planter very nicely and softened the edges.........

what a peaceful sound of trickling water.................

downstream...........

a "boulder bubbler"...........

a wonderful place to sit a spell......... amongst the Blue Spruce..........

I love the color combo on this Spiderwort.........

no "Colorado Garden" would be complete without some Columbine.

Goodbye Old Friend...

Go into the light........

I know you'll be waiting for me behind the screen door in heaven......my loyal friend........my Bailey.
