just having some fun with some photos that i took a few years ago.
i hope you don't mind seeing them again.
our leaves have not turned color
yet....
but when they do,
i think i will collect some pretty red maple ones....
and pin them to my drapes again.
cuz i sure like how they look.

i hope you are having an awesome autumnal day!

so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI am forever walking around our property gathering leaves & pulling out "the prettiest for pressing" from the just raked piles :-)
I am homesick now-it is official! I am originally from New England and transplanted in the south. I love it here, too, but autumn's beauty is like a passionate tango. I miss the Scarlet red Maples and how from miles and miles their glory blazes in a bright blue sky!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos-I love autumn best :D
So beautiful! Your photos are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteDear Erin,

GLORIOUS CONTRASTS, erin! I am loving my white pumpkins this weekend, but we have not had our colors come alive yet. But here, I can enjoy the stark contrasts that I love so. Happy weekend my dear. Anita
ReplyDeleteThe sunlight through your curtains splashing on those leaves brings such a happy feeling, Erin! :) What an awesome idea! Have a fabulous autumn week, my friend!

We don't have many trees with beautiful leaves, but I have pressed leaves that I've kept for years from living in New England. I love the way they look like they're floating.
ReplyDeleteI would be thrilled with anything you reposted. One of my favorites was this dried leaf idea.
ReplyDeleteDid you go to that vintage fair I have been reading about in Franklin? I hope so!
Sorry for lack of comments...the summer and fall have gotten away from me.
love ya
Carole
you are my biggest inspiration.
