can you tell that
blue is my all time favorite color?
and these gorgeous hydrangeas
just make my
heart a flutter.
i sure hope your summer is going well,
and you surround yourself with the things you love
in your favorite color.

p.s. after a bit of sticker shock, i have finally bought a new mac computer.
i have been so impressed with everything from the sleek design of all of the equipment (even the packaging) , to my time in the store and the whole mac experience.
problem is though...
all of my 38,000+ photos (gulp, who takes that many photos?) from my old computer, have been uploaded to my new computer in ONE FILE!
so, i can not find anything and i am slightly freaked out by that. but, i have a "reservation" at the mac store for some "personal training"...and i am sure we will figure it all out....
ah, learning something new keeps one alive. |
Stunning!!!!!! I just love the bucket. Great way to start the day with such beautiful inspiring photos.
ReplyDeleteDear Erin! You and me both; this color BLUE is life to me, it is heaven. Your combination of hydrangeas, zinc buckets, white AND THE BEST....YOUR BLUE NAIL POLISH make for some of the most beautiful photos. Have a super August! Anita
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful hydrangeas!
ReplyDeleteThis Summer is flying by. Hard to believe the children are already back in school.
Oh Erin, those hydrangeas are just too wonderful. And you have gobs of them! I'm jealous! I also want a Mac, but i'm scared of the price too. Mr. Fractured got me a Dell with Windows 8 through his company, and i hate windows 8, but i don't want to be ungrateful. Although his computer just died, maybe i could give him mine, and figure out a way to get a Mac. Is it really that wonderful for the extra cost?

Your pictures are stunning as usual, Erin! I have a MacBook Pro and a MAC desktop. Love, love, love them. There is no turning back. Are all of your pictures saved to iPhoto or Photoshop? Organizing digital photos is a nightmare no matter how you look at it. Take advantage of the help at the Mac store, I should've done more.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen
Amazing blue color! Love all your shots of them!
ReplyDeleteGee, I never would have guessed that you like blue! Love that nail polish. Although I envy your new computer, I don't envy having to sift through the photo's.
ReplyDeleteGood stuff! Good luck with the "personal training".

Gorgeousness, Erin! Love the blue!!! We've had a pretty mild summer up here in MI, too, thank goodness! Much better than last year. :) Good luck with your computer training. Just remember that it keeps our brain cells from aging to rapidly! lolol

Erin - I love that color of blue and the hydrangeas make my heart flutter too. As for the mac computer - I know you will sort it all out. It is true learning something new keeps us young! Have a happy day.
ReplyDeletePrecious erin,
ReplyDeletehow kind of you to come by and leave a comment. I see your beautiful blues here are still gracing this lovely page of yours, and it give me joy to see your art. That white horse; oh my how I remember how he captured me years ago!
Thank you for your visit. Happy Friday! Anita

ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new pc and I hope the pictures are being found :))))))

I always look forward to your hydrangea posts! Stunning photos. Loving the blue hydrangeas! I love my iMac...but I must say my photos are not organized anymore neatly than the hard copies from years ago! Ugh! Not something I'm very good with. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThe first photo of hydrangeas in the bucket is one of the best I've seen, absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWell I knew you were a Blue girl but seeing it on your toes made me smile. Love it! Our hydrangeas around here look like they are in "fall" mode. Just got too hot during the heat wave. I have hydrangea envy:)
ReplyDeleteWhy I didn't want to go with Mac was the photo moving plus I just can't take on another thing to learn.
Looks like you've enjoyed your summer. Sorry I haven't been visiting these last months.
Hugs
Carole
So now I need to go looking for a mop bucket. What a great container for hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blues!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your first MAC!!!
I love mine. I can't imagine going back now!
You will get used to it!
:)
Can't believe I've finished teaching 10 weeks of art camp! So crazy how fast it's gone! Glad you are having a mild summer!
Big hugs!
