and yes,
i even dressed the part!
too bad my tongue is sticking out in this photo (the only photo of me taken).
i am much more comfy behind the camera!
there were not many sales OR customers that day,
but it was another good learning experience for me.
i really want to start selling on line (on etsy)....
i am sure you are getting tired of hearing me say that...i am too.
but
until i get all of my gardens completely in order,
i am discovering, i can not do both...
or do them both well....
i have been receiving more and more messages from the universe...
that indeed, i am an artist
the transition
is the true challenge right now.

Congratulations Erin!! Beautiful booth.
ReplyDeleteYour art is absolutely amazing & I love that you are acknowledging your " messages from the universe" xo Love your new sidebar photo too!!
So beautiful! You are an amazing artist. I have loved your art. Keep forging ahead. Art is personal, but, hang in people will purchase!
ReplyDeletewell look at you pretty girl! love the new photo
ReplyDeleteOUCH is right. I would have wept if that had been my painting... your little booth is darling..
they will come dear..let go of expectations and wishes, and worries and just paint for love- and it will come to you <3
YAY for you! and OUCH is right that two holes were punched in that big gorgeous painting of the queens anne's lace!!! Hard to hear that...
ReplyDeleteDisplaying canvases is not for the faint of heart. I tried selling paintings at a farmers market once, and had canvases propped everywhere, and they were getting blown over and scratched all over the place, they catch the wind like kites! it was awful, and of course i didn't sell anything.
It's so great to see you showing your amazing work, and see... you sold some stuff already!
Cindy
So happy for you!! Your paintings are gorgeous as you are.
ReplyDeleteOuch is right on the painting. Glad you are getting orders!
Hugs,
Donna
Your space looks great. Sorry the show did not get more traffic, and that you ended up with a damaged painting.
ReplyDeleteSounds exciting! I think art shows are hard. I just can't make big decisions like that really fast. I have to think about it for awhile. Maybe people won't be able to get a piece off their mind and will look you up again to buy. Just keep on trying. You're amazing and it will happen.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen
You ARE an Artist for sure! I do hope that you sell on Etsy.
ReplyDeleteI just love, love, love, the colors in your paintings. Those mason jars look wonderful. I hope you do open an etsy store, you can reach a broader range of people that way. Good luck and have fun gardening. Alaina
ReplyDeleteOh yes~indeed, you are an artist!
ReplyDeleteYour work is so beautiful Erin! I love your booth set up,everything looks gorgeous, especially you! Every show is a learning experience in one way or another. Sometimes the show that doesn't bring us much income, turns out to be one where we make a connection that we needed right then. I hope that you continue to do many more shows, the world needs to see your artwork! love, t.xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo BEAUTIFUL!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou really are an ARTIST!!!!

Dear Erin - congratulations. I do love your backdrop and your art is beautiful. You are an artist my friend! Hope you have a great week-end.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Everything looks so light and airy and Springlike, especially you! I really love your paintings of ball jars. I feel for your "poked" painting. I once had an entire Wall come crashing down at a show, with 12 pictures on it. Only one piece of glass was broken, I couldn't believe it.
ReplyDeleteErin.....don't doubt yourself, girl. God blessed you with a talent, and you ARE an artist. Through and through! Your work is beautiful and inspiring and captures His creation in a stunning way. :) You are amazing!

Hi Erin,
ReplyDeleteI was sure I left a comment here. Maybe I have lost my mind! haaa.
I cannot say enough about your painting Erin.. So peaceful.. I just love your style.. They are truly exquisite!
Oh dear, sorry about the "poked" painting. Years ago I was painting outside and a strong wind came up.
POOF! My painting just flew off the easel.. As luck would have it, no damage..
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and most welcome visit.
Sending you a big Hug!
Penny
what a beautiful creative art space/booth! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMy sis and I are trying to think of creative ways to show off our art. I love that the space speaks of your art and shows it off so beautifully.
