my old 1999 jeep has been in the shop for a couple of days.......new compressor for the air conditioner needed........so yesterday, i went to town, rearranging my sun/living/never know what to call this/room......and of course big kit-ten and little miss daisy had to join in the fun!
i removed the painted white coffee table and stuck it in the attic (i call that the "prop room") and replaced it with this old medical cart from the back porch.......rubbed the rust off with "mr. clean's magic eraser" (do you know about this amazing product? you must check it out!)......and i am lovin the new look.
all old pieces, that lived other lives......pulled together.

the top was just a little too rusty for me, so i topped it with an old wooden tool caddy that has the coolest tin bottom.
love them curvy legs.
added some chunky white candles......

GOOD MORNING DEAREST! I am very behind on my blogging, but as usual, your visuals have inspired me again and again to try to capture the light. But in my craft, that is in WORDS.....off to go write.

Isn't it fun just to change things up a bit, Erin? What a huge difference little changes can make! I just love what you did with your room. So sweet and cozy! And your darling little helpers are absolutely adorable! ♥ Oh...and I can't do my housework without my Magic Eraser! lol!

Love your fun finds and the white on white scheme...I've always loved the look and you do it to perfection! I thought I could get away with a white quilt covering the day bed in front of the TV ..thinking I could bleach it (since I have a 5 year old)... but I realize I'm washing it at least once a week. And it's not my 5 year old..it's my hubby! : ) Maybe I need to wait until they're grown... LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove kitty toes! It all looks so beautiful and refreshing though I don't know if I could manage it. I always seem to have a layer of pastel or charcoal dust everywhere!
ReplyDeleteI guess I will have to enjoy vicariously!
