i have been working my little gardening tail off lately
and "settling in" to some studio time this weekend,

indeedy.

surrounded by things that i love and inspire me.........
the color blue.

good lighting.

a comfy place to set awhile.

i feel inspired.

i leave you,
with this little baby Blue Jay, sitting against my garage today.
too young to fly. mommy must be close by. picture taken quickly, as to not disturb.

  9. Wonderful, inspiring pictures! And what a beautiful bird! We don't have those in Norway. How special :-)
I just love your blog, Erin. The photos, colors, garden, everything :-) And I'm glad to hear that it's springtime in some parts of the world. We just had 30 cm of snow for the last couple of days, but it's supposed to rain next week, so it will probably dissappear quickly. I'm longing for spring as well ;-)

  13. Great shots - especially of the bird. I don't think the birds have even started building nests around here yet. Rain and dreary here also - I am ready for Spring to return. Enjoy your weekend, regardless of the weather. :D

  14. The bird stopped me in my tracks and then the photo of you simply blew me away!

I know very well how it may have been trepidatious for you to put it out there and I am so proud of you girlie I am actually tap dancing under my desk. Oh my goodness you are so pretty! I will take this as inspiration to get over my own "issues" with myself with you leading the way.

Your blue bird may have to replace DD on my screen saver. What better harbinger of Spring?

    GINORMOUS hugs

  19. I would put that picture on your sidebar. It's very artsy and you look great.
I want to join you inside too....it's been freezing here and even our pansies aren't too happy.
I can see why your studio makes you create such wonderful work and not cluttered like my craft room. Can't even think clearly in there.

Hope you have a great week.
