with mild temperatures in the 70's!!
a Chihuly Glass Exhibition at Cheekwood Gardens last night, which took my breath away,
tonight an Art Crawl in downtown Nashville,
and tomorrow night sitting by a campfire in our backyard with some neighbors.......
one of the best weekends ever!!
and this change in the weather,
is most welcome indeedy.
aaahhhhhh.
Loving this cool weather too. Supposed to be 49 tonight! Saw Chihuly in July when it was miserable hot. I loved the balls in the Japanese garden. Neat idea!
ReplyDeleteYou even make laundry day look good girl!!!
ReplyDeleteWe had an incredible day....windy but man what a difference a day makes! One day threat of being wiped off the planet and the next heaven!
Hey the saying goes in New England(and probably in most parts)
If you don't like the weather then just wait a minute!

I love Dale Chihuly's work! I saw an exhibit in the Chicago Botanic Garden a few years ago. He made big huge glass lily pads. It was beautiful! Well, it's way too hot here to be outside. Breezes are basically hot blasts. I did get a pedicure with my DD2 which was lovely. It's so wonderful that you are enjoying your yard and neighbors. I remember the pictures of your back yard flooded. Have a lovely tomorrow too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Karen
beautiful pics, erin! you really captured the feeling of warm sunshine. if doing laundry looked like this, i would do it all of the time.

I think the high today here was 82, low humidity and a clear gorgeous blue sky - absolutely wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having a wonderful weekend.
Ok people.. enough already with all the cool weather talk. I've warned you about that!
ReplyDeleteI burned the soles of my feet on hot concrete this afternoon carrying treasures to a friends car that she found in my garage sale pile.
Erin, such lovely photos rivaled only by the delicate hankies...nope, not even they can upstage these photos.
Your evening is most likely in full swing by now. Hope you are having a blast.
and no more weather talk, at least until we're back in the 90's OK?
Beautiful pics...especially as my side of the world begins its transition to the cooler days of fall....thank so much for glimpse of a sunny day:)
ReplyDeletesuch lovely photos, and it sounds as though you are fully enjoying your last summer days, they sound much like ours.
ReplyDeleteDang, I love your photos so much, I think I'll retire and just look at yours! :)
ReplyDeleteSo happy you are having lovely weather. House guests have arrived so I didn't get anything sent to you and don't want to bother you anyway in the midst of your wonderful weekend plans. Enjoy it all and we'll be in touch next week.
