renewal

it seems that, the seasons change overnight here.
after a few gloriously warm days, i'm beginning to see more blooms and buds in the garden!
just walking through my own backyard, i see the emergence of life
and
renewal
of
hope.

winter jasmine

bright stars

hellebores

daffodils

pieris japonica

scilla

hydrangea

moss and sedum

aaaaaaahhhhhh......
renewal.
breathe it in.

  1. This is so true. How silly we are not to take more time and look the way you do with your camera. Thank you.

  2. Goodness Erin
Your photos are incredible... I won't pick a favourite as they are all delightful and remind me why I don't want summer to end.. Think I will have to hop a plane over your way,.. visit you and Carole and do spring all over again... hahaha... wishful thinking.. Still LOVING that last painting.. you have the ethereal touch!!! Have a great week xxx Julie

  3. Looks like you are ahead of us and you are North of me. I was out and about today, and just did not see that much in bloom, unless it was behind homes in gardens. We usually have more daffodils in bloom by now - guess the bad Winter stunted their growth. :-) Thanks for sharing your pretty flowers.

  7. All of these beauties are in your yard?!

So refreshing to see. I loved this post. I just noticed today that certain trees were starting to carry tiny buds on them... and the smell of some flower that I can't tell you the name of is everywhere. LOVE this time of year.

    Bonnie

  16. Erin,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Too cool that we found each other through Tracy Porter. Love all your photography and music. Do you happen to know my friend Cindy Shapton?...she is very involved with the 'Master Gardener' program in Franklin and has a blog...the Cracked Pot Gardener. Nice to meet you! Julie
