grey days

our beautiful winter wonderland of snow is now a memory...


we have been left with very grey days.


all is well with my computer...big relief!


my grey painting above is inspired by my art class in which we were prompted to paint a "self portrait metaphor".


i see myself as a lone, misty tree in a wide open field.


often alone.


standing strong.


and fragile.


yielding to the wind.


reaching out.


shrouded by haze and yet very crystal clear.

















peaceful, quiet, glorious grey days of winter...


spent painting and photographing...


soon it will be spring,


and my attention will turn to matters of the garden.


another love.


another passion...

    What a relief, knowing everything is OK with the most important object, the computer =).
    Without my computer, I´d be lost...hehe.

    Beautiful photos and paintings. They keep talking about "snow showers" this week - don't want to hear that. Glad you got your computer issues straightened out. I panic when something goes haywire on mine as I am computer challenged.
