  5. No snow ever here. There's not even much on the mountains. I'm trying to decorate in whites (a stretch for me) for a winter touch. Someday I'll post pictures. Having trouble blogging lately.

  6. No! No! Don't want any snow here! :-D Grey, cold, dreary day here also. But then a little snow would be better than the possible severe weather they are predicting for tomorrow night. :(
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

  7. Simply gorgeous, Erin! I love what you did with the locker.

It's grey here, too. Although our snow from earlier in the week is melting now. I'm just as happy without it as we were snowbound for three days. :) But it was very pretty. Hope you get some soon!

  8. I adore grey and David. Today was beautiful in my eyes. Grey, sparse, rugged - very bronte esque. I understand these days can be somber and difficult for normal people but I find comfort in cloudy grey, wood smoke days. Heaven.

  14. oh darlin', if I had the usual EXTRA FIVE FEET OF SNOW that we usually have, I would send it to you TOUT DE SUITE. But we have only a sugar dusting and this is making for some strange weather. I know. I know....a little winter scenery to go with the biting cold would be nice. But you have made something beautiful out of the gray which is quite frankly, GORGEOUS in home décor, but quickly tiresome to look at OUTSIDE!

Keep making your own magic! Anita

  19. I like terrarium-guy. Also, I recognize the seedpods from my tree. It's been unusually overcast here in the desert, too. Hope you get to play in some snow soon.

  20. I am feeling the grey but in a good way. I always come away happy when I leave here. That piece is lovely with its crackly bits.
We still have some snow here but no sun and I so wanted to take some pics.

  22. i can't decide if i love the photos, the locker, or the paintings the most...i go back and look at the post daily for inspiration. my favorite - maybe all-time - is the piece over the mantle. the wood the 3 images are attached to brings the paintings together... just love it :)

  27. No snow in LA or Ojai but we got some in the local mountains. Alas it's been a while since I have seen snow up close and personal. 2 years?

Lovely feather. Feathers feel magical and I love that they represent the element of air. I guess it still feels like magic that birds fly ... maybe that's what it is about feathers.

    Still lovin' that horse painting!
