Chrismas Decor at C's

I thought I'd share with you some photos taken at C's home of some of the decorating I was working on last week.

the main tree centered in the living room...

fireplace mantel in the same room...

stairway in the same room.

entry.

this is one of two wreaths that I hung on the windows on either side of the fireplace.

master bedroom mantel...

that is really just a fraction of the Christmas Decor there...I will be posting more pictures soon.

in the mean time, I've been working hard on my own Christmas Decorating and I can't wait to share it with you on Saturday.

I have a more understated and earthy style at my home using natural elements brought in from the garden .........

you'll see.

I start decorating at Suzanne's house on Wednesday...hope to show you pics of that as well!
oh yes, we FINALLY had a deep frost, so I need to take care of some annuals that have been blooming like crazy in this mild fall weather and now have turned to mush...and there are those darn leaves to remove!

busy,

busy,

busy!
for more beautiful Christmas inspiration!

  1. We just got a hard frost last night too. Now the 2nd clean up begins.
ok back to the pretties!!! The icy look is amazing and gives an unstated elegance. I knew I'd love what you did but this is even beyond what I pictured. The snowy branches on the mantel and tree brings a little nature in. Their marble fireplaces are to die for!!! WOW what a house!
Can I come to their Christmas party??? At night it must look magical.
Thanks Erin for sharing this....and can't wait to see "your" decorations too!

  2. Everything is beautiful! Love the tree. Thanks for sharing with us. Susan @ Thoughts From Over the Rainbow if hosting Deck the Halls if you would like to join in. There is a problem with Mr. linky right now - maybe it will be working later. The link to her site is in my post for today.
Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful work.
