mr. sunshine and a spanking

oh HAPPY day! mr. sunshine appeared today and made everything all better.

so i went about, to take some sunny and green, happy pictures...

here are some behind the scenes photos of little daisy going a little

"HAPPY"

too. after all, i believe this is the first sunny day we have had since her arrival!?

to our happy surprise, the big kitten has totally embraced her arrival and they are now best friends !

insert spanking

here.

just a little one, to get her attention...we don't climb up mama's curtains that came from germany (even though mama only paid $2 a panel for them at a garage sale...that was a good find!)

daisy forgave me and settled in for a nap in the napkin basket. maybe thats why they are called "nap"kins?

i forgave her too! just look at that face!

p.s. don't tell hubby she was on the table, cause he would NOT like that...it's just between me and you.

hope YOUR day was

sunny!
and HAPPY!

grey days

our beautiful winter wonderland of snow is now a memory...

we have been left with very grey days.

all is well with my computer...big relief!

my grey painting above is inspired by my art class in which we were prompted to paint a "self portrait metaphor".

i see myself as a lone, misty tree in a wide open field.

often alone.

standing strong.

and fragile.

yielding to the wind.

reaching out.

shrouded by haze and yet very crystal clear.

peaceful, quiet, glorious grey days of winter...

spent painting and photographing...

soon it will be spring,

and my attention will turn to matters of the garden.

another love.

another passion...
